As volunteers, Aaron Brooks and Lasha Marshall of Bank OZK introduce single-parent families to the life-changing power of education.

“I’ve seen in my own life that education is the key to building a better career and future,” said Aaron, who began volunteering in 2021 and credits Lasha for connecting him with our nonprofit. “I really appreciate the small role that I can play to make education a real possibility for single parents.”

Aaron and Lasha use their time and talent to empower families as they help strengthen our program and expand our reach.

Lasha, who was a Pulaski County board member and served on the Pulaski County affiliate’s board finance committee, said she was drawn to volunteering with ASPSF because she is able to use her banking experience to further our mission.

Aaron and Lasha invite you to join them in this valuable work. As an ASPSF volunteer, your work goes far beyond the students we serve. You’ll help change the future for their children, influencing change for generations to come.

No matter how you choose to volunteer, the time you invest as a volunteer with ASPSF will change the lives of single-parent families right here in  Arkansas. Learn more or apply online at aspsf.org/volunteer.
